Come join your child in his/her preschool education! WASCAE programs are nonprofit parent participation preschools that have been offering quality education to both children and parents since 1950. On top of providing a developmentally appropriate preschool experience for children, we also offer a family-centered parent education program with an emphasis on honing effective teaching and parenting skills designed to improve their children’s academic success.

 

This is achieved through weekly practice working in our preschool lab, and reinforced through parent meetings where information on child development, parenting techniques, and best educational practice is presented. Parents learn to work as co-teachers in the classroom and in a K-8 school setting.

 

The purpose of the class is to provide the best possible environment for the development of the young child and at the same time assist parents in understanding and enjoying the growing process.
